Bill is originally from Wexford but now lives in Dublin with his partner. He studied an undergrad in Psychology in college and went on to get a Masters in Interaction Design.  Bill started his career in tech when living in New York and sort of accidentally stumbled into UX Design and has loved every day of it since. Bill is lucky to work with our diverse design team of designers who all share the same passion to create the best buying and selling experiences for our users. In his spare time, Bill loves socialising with friends, eating great food or jumping on a plane to explore somewhere new - and unlike Fergus, sometimes all at the same time!

Hailing from Longford, Fergus lives in Dublin 8 with his wife. He studied mechanical engineering in UCD before working with Accenture, Paddy Power and Hostelworld. He joined Distilled in 2018 as Product Owner Lead, working in various roles in product before his current position as Head of Product Planning & Delivery. In his spare time, Fergus loves to travel, run, cook and listen to music - not all at the same time!

Born and bred in Belfast, Shane travelled down to Dublin after graduating in Computer Science from Queens University. He started his career as a software developer with AIB before moving into a series of consultancy roles within the Microsoft tech space. Shane joined Distilled as an Engineering Manager during the pandemic, working with his colleagues for over a year without ever meeting in person. Even onboarding remotely didn't affect the amazing culture, friendly personalities and strong sense of collaboration from shining through at this great company. Living in Dublin with his wife, two sons and daugther, Shane loves spending time with his friends and family, being active, coaching kids soccer, and generally having a laugh and enjoying the little things.

From Dublin, Conor joined Distilled in April 2020 as Head of Engineering for Daft.ie. Before that he had lived and worked in Sydney for 8 years. While there, Conor helped grow a small e-commerce startup into an ASX listed public company. Conor’s career and background started out in Business Management & Finance before making the switch to Software Engineering. He has a real interest in bringing together people and technology to help solve business problems. Outside of work, Conor tries to spend as much time with family, sneaking in a few rounds of golf and working on his vegetable garden.

Milen hails from the sunny South-East of Europe - Bulgaria. Despite having a degree in Marketing, he's been working in Tech for 15 years. He joined Adverts in 2013 as a Senior Software Developer before progressing to an Engineering Management position over time. He is currently managing the Site Reliability Engineering Team responsible for observability, incident response and scaling our environments in the cloud. He is passionate about process improvements, simplification and modernisation of our technology stack. He enjoys traveling, playing board games or table tennis with friends. Also cats.

Seán is a proud native of County Wexford where he lives with his wife and two young kids. He previously worked in construction engineering before the 2009 recession provided the opportunity to switch to software, and he has never looked back. Seán joined Distilled in 2016 as a QA Automation Engineer before transitioning into Engineering Management in late 2017. Seán loves playing any sport, in particular soccer and football, but between the addition of kids and increasingly aged and brittle legs, he has swapped the ball for some easy late night runs.

Born in London but raised a Wicklow man at heart. Brian lives in Wicklow town where he enjoys practicing his dad jokes with his wife and daughter. He has always had a passion for technology ever since he was young. His mobile journey started when he got his hands on one of the first iPhone's in the country. Brian studied Computer Applications in DCU and then started his career as an Android engineer. He has worked in London, Toronto and Dublin, gaining experience with a range of business sectors and company sizes. Over his 10 years of experience, he has jumped between Android and iOS a number of times (Please don’t ask him to pick a favourite!). Brian joined Distilled in 2022, where his passion for mobile and leading great teams have combined.

Coming from Macedonia, Bojana moved to Ireland in late 2021 and now lives in Dublin with her partner and two cats. With full-stack development experience in telecom and banking systems, Bojana joined Distilled remotely during the pandemic as a front-end engineer. Since then she has transitioned into an Engineering Manager. Bojana’s love for tech and computers was developed at a young age with video games and she got introduced to programming in high school. Since then she started pursuing this in higher education, but with joining a tech company has found enjoyment in bringing tech to business as a way to solve people’s problems. In her free time, she enjoys cycling, video games and spending time with family and friends. And spoiling her cats Javascript and Stradivarius.
