We donated towards Girls Team Jerseys to the value of €825 after Colum Foskin contacted us on behalf of his Daughters Team.  Colum highlighted the fact that his Daughter, who plays for Villa Schoolgirl’s in Waterford. Theres about 30 teams at the club so jerseys are often handed down to the younger teams. The reasoning was more that we were using a set of jerseys a few years old and this was an opportunity to get them a new full kit with shorts and socks also which was their own. It also just made them all feel just as important as the other squads as participation is tougher with girls in sport so this just gave the whole squad a nice surprise and a lift see if we could maybe sponsor new jerseys for the them, which we were delighted to do!  We had the budget there when he approached us, so we felt it was a really good cause for us to help with!  We’re delighted to have made a small difference to this sports team, and we wish them every success!  Go Villa!!!
